Interested in the creative blend of design and tradition, the artists re-interpreted this antique technique in an original way, preserving the purity and natural elegance of the style. This hand-carved cameo is made according to the ancient process of Sardonyx shell carving, which employs a two-layered surface of different colors to allow the carved figure to emerge from the bottom in positive relief. A time-honored and totally unique talisman featuring a regal antlered stag, symbolic of strength and sweetness, energy and longevity. Many supernatural virtues related to well-being and physical purity have been attributed to the deer since ancient times.
